Period Inspiration:

Channeling the geometric confidence of 1920s–30s Paris, this Art Deco club chair reinterprets the classic French fauteuil club in clean, rectilinear lines. Where the earliest club chairs favored rounded, bombé arms, this silhouette reflects the architectural shift introduced by the 1925 Paris Exposition des Arts Décoratifs: squared panel arms, a tall raked back, and a deep box-seat cushion in place of ornamental curves. Full-grain leather is hand-finished in a rich cognac-whiskey hue with antiqued shading, so no two chairs read exactly alike, and the color only deepens with age. Exposed wood block feet in a warm oak tone complete the grounded, architectural stance.

Named for the avenue that anchored fashionable Parisian life through the Art Deco decades, this leather club chair suits a reading corner, home library, study, or living room seeking old-world craftsmanship in a modern silhouette. A genuine leather armchair for collectors of French Art Deco furniture, vintage-style leather chairs, and enduring, handcrafted seating.
