Period Inspiration:

Inspired by the refined neoclassical furnishings associated with the age of Louis XVI, The Petit Trianon Louis XVI Bedstead captures the elegance and restraint that distinguished French aristocratic interiors in the late eighteenth century. Named after the celebrated Petit Trianon at Versailles, the bed reflects the architectural clarity and classical ornament that emerged as France turned away from Rococo exuberance and embraced the ideals of Greco-Roman antiquity.

The frame is distinguished by fluted uprights crowned with carved finials, delicately moulded rails, rosette blocks, and scrolling acanthus ornament executed with remarkable precision. Upholstered panels in rich Bleu Roi velvet provide a striking contrast to the hand-finished frame, creating a composition that is both regal and serene. Every line is symmetrical, balanced, and disciplined - hallmarks of the Louis XVI aesthetic.

Equally suited to a grand master suite, heritage residence, boutique hotel, or classically inspired interior, this bedstead embodies the timeless sophistication of French decorative arts. It is a statement of craftsmanship, history, and enduring taste, handcrafted for those who appreciate furniture that transcends fashion.
