Period Inspiration:

The Malabar Regency Cane Armchair is a soulful tribute to South India’s old coastal mansions—where heirloom furniture gleamed in the flicker of oil lamps, and artisanal cane work whispered stories of monsoon winds and timeless craftsmanship.

This stately armchair embodies the gentle grandeur of the early 19th-century Anglo-Indian Regency era, masterfully blending turned legs, hand-carved finials, and elegant sloping arms with the earthy warmth of natural cane.

Each curve, each spindle, each carved flourish carries the quiet dignity of a bygone age. The chair’s frame is sculpted from richly polished hardwood, its grain glowing in deep amber notes, while the hand-woven cane panels breathe lightness into the silhouette.
Graceful yet grounded, refined yet inviting - this chair belongs as easily in a contemporary study as it does in a colonial veranda. It is not just a seat - it is a place to pause, ponder, and belong.
